What is ICF ACC certification?
The Associate Certified Coach (ACC) status is awarded to aspiring coaches who complete the certification exam and other requirements set down by the International Coaching Federation or ICF.
It is an entry-level credential (known as Level 1 or L1) and indicates that the awardee has met the necessary training and experience requirements as set down by the ICF and is authorized to launch a professional coaching practice.
How much does it cost to get ACC certified?
At USA Coach Academy, the tuition fees for the ICF Associate Coach Certification Training Program are $7,400.

What is the difference between ICF ACC and ICF PCC certification?
The ICF ACC (Associate Certified Coach) certification is an entry-level certification, also referred to as Level 1 of the ICF certification process.
PCC (Professional Certified Coach) is a Level 2 certification which is for coaches who have already acquired the ACC credential. A PCC status indicates verified coaching skills with significant client experience.
The main difference between the Level 1 and Level 2 certification is the number of coaching hours required to be completed.
ACC requires 100 hours of client coaching experience with 8+ clients, of which 75 hours must be compensated.
For PCC, you must complete 500 hours of client coaching experience with at least 25 clients (450 hours must be paid).
What is my pathway to moving to PCC after I complete my ACC certification?
There is no specific or fixed duration of moving from ACC to PCC certification.
It depends largely on how much client experience you have already gained. You must have at least 500 hours of client experience (of which at least 450 hours must be paid) to qualify for PCC certification. If you are close to that mark, you can prepare for the PCC certification exam within a few weeks.
